Raman Bageecha in Rangat

Andaman and Nicobar Islands are full of lovely surprises. Even after being here for more than a year, the place never ceases to present us with beautiful places we have never seen. A similar beach came to out notice when the DFO told us about it and we headed there.
Raman Bageecha in Rangat

It is located near Rangat Jetty. You can cover some distance by car but for the rest you have to walk for about 700-800 mts.

Carry a small mat or sheet with you to sit on near the beach and enjoy the cool, windy sea breeze.

The beach is clean though not as clean as many other Andaman beaches. But it does give a picturesque view and clear wind to revel in.

All in all, I loved the place. Planning to go again to spend a hot, sunny noon under the cool shade of coconut trees inhaling pure, clear air.

Note: The beach is not good for bathing. The water carries mud and thus not recommended for swimming or bathing. Also, it is not safe for swimming too..

How to Reach: Go to Rangat Jetty by STS bus or a taxi. Drive near to the beach and walk for few mts.
